Hunter [3 Months]...

3 Months.... REALLY?!
My babe is getting too big, too fast... Emphasis on the BIG!
Rolls are developing in all the right places and I LOVE IT!
He is constantly smiling and cooing (sometimes he sounds like an angry cat, but I love it all the same) I think he has some sort of hatred or extreme curiosity when it comes to the phone. Whenever it is being used to capture his happy smiley face, Mr. Serious shows up.
Hunter is described by most as a "chill baby". He is totally content with life and just likes to be around people. He is a very observant child and loves to have staring contents. (He lets me win sometimes)
He has become such a Daddys boy. It kinda melts me every time I see/hear them together. B does thing where he kinda tosses/swings Hunter up and down; and the roaring coos that come from my 3 month old son could make even the darkest of days bright!
He is starting to grab his little toys and loves nothing more than sucking on his hands. Sometimes it is nice that he can self sooth, but I really fear for the day that he locates just his thumb... (you can take a paci away, not a thumb) Also, having the hands in the mouth results in drool... Lots and lots of drool.
Our current work in progress is rolling over. We spend lots of time on our tummy but then just give up and decide that burrowing our head in the blanket while snorting/grunting is much more fun!
Being away from family is hard. But there are two things that I am extremely grateful for.
1: The wonderful people in our ward who are so willing to help whenever needed.
2: FACETIME/SKYPE! I love the fact that Hunter has the opportunity to see his family even though they are all hundreds, even thousands of miles away.

My Little Valentine...

The South...

It feels good to miss someone.
That might sound a little strange, but its the truth.
Missing them means they have a place in your heart and you simply count the days until the next time you are able to see one another.
A few weekends ago Blaine and I were able to go to North Carolina to be with family.
It was exceptionally wonderful.
Hunter was able to see/meet his GREAT Grandparents, we took a walk on the beach, and we of course ate A LOT of good food.
I loved this little trip and everything about it.
Truly counting down the days until we are back in the South.
