Mothers Day 2015...

[I am trying my hardest to get caught up with these posts so bare with me...]
My Mother's Day work out perfect... I was so happy that I was able to be with both H and B. You see, off days from baseball are golden during the summer (because they are few and far between) so we take full advantage and explore! We decided to head to the beach since we knew there likely wouldnt be another chance we could all go as a family.
I am so glad we did! H LOVES THE WATER! He throws himself at every wave, runs top speed along the shore trying to catch the birds, and does everything in his power not to be taken from the ocean. This kid has no fear and completely wears himself out! Later on we went to Red Lobster to enjoy a yummy seafood dinner. H gave me the best present of all, he fell asleep on the way there, and stayed asleep until the last bite!
Mothers Day was perfect. My boys spoiled me with love, kisses, and flowers.
I couldn't have had it better.

Here Comes Peter Cottontail...

HAPPY EASTER!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend filled with Christ, family, and good food.

Our weekend was a little chaotic and very emotional. Saturday I worked all morning, B had his last day of Spring Training, and we finished packing him for Florida. The Easter bunny didn't disappoint and showed up that evening with goodies for my boys. We then enjoyed a yummy dinner with the Harveys... Just when I thought goodbyes were hard.....

Sunday morning at 4AM B had to leave... How horrible is that?! So I spent Sunday bawling, I mean, watching conference and cleaning. Hunter and I went to the Harveys for dinner later in the evening. It is so good to have friends that are basically family! I don't know what I would do with out them here in Arizona. We decided to do a little egg hunt for the kids out back. I was pleasantly surprised how excited they were to run around with buckets, filling them to the top with eggs. I know everyone says it, but holidays really are so much better with kids!

Love Day With My Valentines...

Oh how I LOVE love month.
Not only did I get spoiled with flowers and gifts...
But I was able to celebrate with the two most handsome boys around!

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Being away from family and having a little one is not the easiest.
There are so many times I wish we lived near grandparents so they could experience each milestone with us as H learns and grows every day.
Seeing as that is not the case, Kristina and I decided to make a little Valentine for our kiddos grandparents so they could feel of his love as well.
Thanks to Pinterest we recreated these two mementos.

A Long Distance Hug: Hand-prints connected by a string measured to be the length of their arms.

Thumbprint Fridge Magnets: Used their sweet little thumbs to press a heart into baking clay, painted and glued to a magnet. (I might have made an extra for myself)

My Little Lumberjack...

Halloween this year was a simple one...
B had to work... :( but we figured next year, when Hunter is a little older, trick or treating with him would be a little more exciting.
H and I headed out to Mesa with the Harvey's to do a little trick or treating with the kids.
But really... Let's be honest, when you trick or treat with a 1 yr old (almost), you're really getting the candy for yourself!
H was Paul Bunyan and I was his Blue Ox Babe.
B made an ax for him using a dowel and black felt.
It was so fun to watch him pack it around even though he was more interested with the green candy bucket.
^^Cutest little duo there ever was!
^^Love this Tinker
^^and how cute is this gender reveal?! So excited for my bestie and their growing family!
Cant wait to meet this little beauty!

Lake Day...

It has been far too long since I have been on a lake.
Why didn't I know about Lake Pleasant sooner?!
I would have jumped at the chance to go.
Growing up I lived at the lake..
Every summer was spent playing in the water.

Memorial Day B and I went with some friends (Q&K) and enjoyed some much needed adult time.
(HUGE thanks to K's parents for watching the kiddos)

Easter Boy(s)...

Love my sweet little dapper man...
Easter was great this year.
Now I know that our babe is still too young to truly understand what holidays are all about,
but they really are better with a child (or husband)
 ^^Please note the identical faces^^
^^ I'd say B had a great Easter... (Established gift from his Mother vs gift from a poor wife)^^

Christmas Cheer 2013...

This Christmas season was a little strange for us, but wonderful nonetheless...
We stayed on the west to be with my family this year.
A few days before Christmas we ventured to Vegas to see my parents.
Hunter did WONDERFUL for his first big car ride... Slept the whole way there. (4 hrs)
This Momma was a little nervous, but so happy things went well.
My parents were in the middle of a big move so they didn't have Christmas really set up at their house.
I convinced my mom we at least needed stockings to wake up to on Christmas Morn.
(The plan was to drive to STG Christmas Eve but due to time issues it turned into Christmas Day)
We took a few pics, wrapped presents, and went to bed.

Woke up to a few fun treats and then we were off to the blessed city of St. George.
I seriously miss the beauty of St. George.
The red rocks against the blue sky is truly one of the most wonderful sites.

Our time spent in St. George was wonderful.
We were able to play with our nieces and nephews, see the wonders of STG, and show off our babe to some of our best friends.
^^Shea Shea, Tori and sweet little Navy, "The Godfather" Luke, and my second family... The Ences (Leslie and Brooke pictured) [I missed getting a picture when we saw Danielle, love you babe]^^

I have really missed seeing our family and friends.
Living away from everyone hasn't been the easiest but I am actually very grateful for the time I have been given to bond with the new little family I have.
Blaine and Hunter are my world and I am so blessed to have each of them in my life.
