Life 3 years later...

So much has changed since we said goodbye to the Minor League Baseball life.
-We moved to Utah
-I started working full time at the Hospital doing billing and registration
(since then left to work for Zions Way Home Health and Hospice)
-B began to work within the Home Health and Hospice Industry
-B has been attending school at Dixie State University
(just graduated with his Associates May 2018)
-H has been going to "preschool" at the hospital daycare
-We welcomed our beautiful 2nd boy, GREYSON JACK
-B is coaching high school baseball
-H started T-ball and has been loving it

We have also had many camping adventures, visited family in various states, made some wonderful friends, and have grown even closer as a family.

Crazy Busy Two Weeks...

These past two weeks have been non-stop, go go go...
(**Remember, all travel was done with my amazing little man)

  • Flew from Phoenix-->Vegas [Brookes bachelorette weekend and a dentist appointment]
    • Yes I went all the way to Vegas to see my dentist.. That's what you do when it is Dr. Staples!
  • Drove--> Veyo, UT  [Rodeo]
    • Moms car ended up breaking down on the way back to Vegas so we had to stay in Mesquite for the night and Lauren drove us to Vegas the next morning.
  • Drove with Dad -->Phoenix
    • Dad left the day before mom flew in from Chicago.
  • Drove with Mom-->San Diego [Brooke Wedding]
    • Enjoyed the weekend on the beach (randomly met with childhood friend Kelli), ate seafood, saw the San Diego Temple, and witnessed my best friend marry the love of her life.
  • Drove--> Phoenix
  • Drove--> Vegas [Dentist round 2]
  • Drove--> St. George [Dinner with family for Rykers 6th]
    • Dad and I went to St. George to pick up their rental car from Stephen Wade. Turns out moms engine went kaput. We ended up getting the family together for a little dinner. Quickest trip to STG, but definitely worth it!
  • Drove--> Vegas
  • Drove--> Phoenix
Needless to say, I AM DONE WITH DRIVING!

**Side note: I am so amazed at how good Hunter was through all of this.
He traveled like an absolute champ!

Festival of Colors...

This semester has easily been the most stressful, but at the same time it has been so enjoyable!I have found sanity among 5 amazing individuals. Amanda, Mikelle, Shayna, Sarai (notpictured), and Matt (notpictured). Between Capstone, Program Planning, Modifying, and Ethics we all have helped each other get through the dreadful course work.
This past Saturday we had our MASSIVE 3 hr test for Capstone that basically brought death to all of our souls! Our wonderful instructor decided that it would be a great idea to schedule the exam the week after Spring Break... Really?! What was she thinking?! Well we all stayed up studying for hours on end a few days before the test. (something that we should have been doing for the past 2 months) Well, miraculously we all survived. Some how making it through the test from Hell.
Once we finished we decided to celebrate our fail by chucking chalk at one another during the Festival of Colors. I must say... it was the perfect remedy to a stressful week!

New Year...

So, it's the start of a new year... This is the time of year when you can look back and reflect on the person you were, the person you are, and the person you want to become. It's a time to implement the changes you feel necessary to become great or continue on with being the wonderful self you already are. I had the chance of starting this year with someone that I deeply care about... the boy! He came and spent a week with me and it was truly one for the books!! I am so happy that my family got to meet him and see how much he really means to me. (Sorry Tracy... You'll meet him next time around.. PROMISE!) This boy brings so much light into my life. He pushes me to accomplish my hopes and desires, as well as helps me to become a better person. At the New Year everyone sets goals... Majority of those goals are smashed after the first month, but I feel that setting goals with someone and having that extra push/drive makes everything easier. It gives you a reason to become "that person" that you are meant to be...

Love one another...

The Lyman Family Reunion was a great success! It has been forever since our immediate family has ALL been together and it was great! I am truly blessed with a very loving and supportive family! Everyone is so wonderful and special in their own way! Thanks you all you guys do for me. It really means the world to me to have all of you there whenever I need a helping hand!

(I honestly love my Aunt Faye! Such an amazing lady!)

(Dilyn and her curly locks! My Little Buddha is so stinkin cute! Love her guts!)

The Colors of the Wind...

The Festival of Colors was such an exhilarating experience...

I wouldn't have wanted to welcome spring in any other way...

It reminds me of how lucky I am to live in a country such as America, where there are so many cultures that we are exposed to and the education we can receive is endless.

The world is truly a wonderful place...
