Family Pictures 2014...

Are you ready for a full post of photos?!
Last year we went to Vegas for Thanksgiving and I was determined to get "Fall" family pictures with my men.  Phoenix doesn't get much of a Fall and it makes me sad because it is by far my favorite!  After countless messages exchanged between Ashley Flowers and I, we were able to set a date for us to come to St. George for a little family photo session.
B and I did our best to have a happy baby for pictures; fed him, let him nap, let him run...ect. But Ashley really had her work cutout for her with our little stinker... She did wonderfully though and I am so happy with the way they turned out... and now, the photos!!

Southern Babe...

A little over a month ago Hunter and I had the chance to go to North Carolina for a week to visit Blaines family.
I loved every minute of it because I finally got a small taste of the Fall season.
Living in Arizona really makes a person miss the change of seasons.
Especially Summer to Fall...
Which is kind of a bummer because Fall is by far my favorite!
It was very nice to get some quality time with his family.
We ate tons of good food (love the south), went trunk or treating, visited a pumpkin patch, and even rode the train in the mall.
Nana and Papa sure spoiled our boy.
Can't wait to get back to the south! Christmas can't come soon enough!

A Birthday Weekend...

I am officially a quarter of a century.
I feel old...
I had a conversation with my nephew yesterday...
an actual conversion...
That means, not only am I getting old, but all of my favorite little people are getting older too.
Kinda makes me sad.
Wish they would stay little forever.
Even my babe... He is closer to a year than a newborn!
And he even waived yesterday for the first time.
Dada was leaving to go fishing and he actually waived.
I about cried it was so cute!
Well, my birthday was great.
Thank you to everyone and your love.
My boys spoiled me, my parents surprised me, and I got to shove my face full of ice cream cake!
What could be better?!
Here are a few pics of our quick trip to Sedona on Monday.
It looks so much like home (Southern Utah) I couldn't help but love it

Crazy Busy Two Weeks...

These past two weeks have been non-stop, go go go...
(**Remember, all travel was done with my amazing little man)

  • Flew from Phoenix-->Vegas [Brookes bachelorette weekend and a dentist appointment]
    • Yes I went all the way to Vegas to see my dentist.. That's what you do when it is Dr. Staples!
  • Drove--> Veyo, UT  [Rodeo]
    • Moms car ended up breaking down on the way back to Vegas so we had to stay in Mesquite for the night and Lauren drove us to Vegas the next morning.
  • Drove with Dad -->Phoenix
    • Dad left the day before mom flew in from Chicago.
  • Drove with Mom-->San Diego [Brooke Wedding]
    • Enjoyed the weekend on the beach (randomly met with childhood friend Kelli), ate seafood, saw the San Diego Temple, and witnessed my best friend marry the love of her life.
  • Drove--> Phoenix
  • Drove--> Vegas [Dentist round 2]
  • Drove--> St. George [Dinner with family for Rykers 6th]
    • Dad and I went to St. George to pick up their rental car from Stephen Wade. Turns out moms engine went kaput. We ended up getting the family together for a little dinner. Quickest trip to STG, but definitely worth it!
  • Drove--> Vegas
  • Drove--> Phoenix
Needless to say, I AM DONE WITH DRIVING!

**Side note: I am so amazed at how good Hunter was through all of this.
He traveled like an absolute champ!
