Lions, Tigers, and BOYS....

There is nothing better than witnessing your child learn, grow, and discover each and every day. Seeing Hunter's eyes light up when he experiences something for the first time is truly magical. Going to the Wildlife World Zoo was one of  best ideas we have had lately. Some old friends came to town (The Cunninghams) so we took our little men to see some "aminals". Kenton and Hunter are almost exactly one year apart. It's so crazy to see how big and smart K is, and H could be that same way this time next year. These boys were loving the animals. They were growling, mooing, screeching, and running around like crazy. K was even calling them to "come here kitty kitty"...  He wanted to play with the lions and tigers so bad. Blaine almost had that opportunity when he jumped down near the lions cage to get my sunglasses that H had thrown.. The lioness seemed to be in a very playful mood and pounced right at him. (thank goodness for the fence) Lately H has been all over the place when we go out and about... he hates being confined in stroller and refuses to hold your hand... he simply just wants to explore and constantly chasing after him can get oh so tiring! We've thought about getting a kid leash, but not sure which ones work best or if that is considered "wrong" these days.
What are your thoughts on the matter?
Any suggestions on types or kinds of backpack leashes you feel work for you?
^^ The iguana is thiiiiiiiissss big!
^^ H saw the butt of the Rhino and thought it was an elephant... This is his elephant face <3
^^ B's play time at the zoo...

^^and last but not least, Kelsey Cunningham got to see her penguins!

He sure looks like he's having a grand old time! My mom used a 'kid leash' on my brother, because when he was a little guy, he was very independent and loved to run! It can be nice for giving them a little space so that you don't have to physically have your hands on them all the time, but also making sure they don't get too far away in a crowded place.

Aw this looks like such a fun trip! I nanny for a 2 year old and going to the zoo is a great day outing. He likes looking at the giraffes and gorilla.
